Grow lights
Grow lights are lights used in indoor and outdoor environments in both residential and commercial spaces to help plants grow. Plants need light, along with water and carbon dioxide, to carry out the process of photosynthesis. It is a process in which plants create oxygen and energy. Plants convert light energy into chemical energy to feed themselves and produce oxygen.
In the absence or lack of sunlight, plants need artificial sources of lighting. Grow lights come in numerous types, including but not limited to fluorescent, incandescent, metal halide, HID (High-Intensity Discharge), HPS (High-Pressure Sodium Vapor), and LED (Light Emitting Diode). LED grow lights are more powerful than LED lights used for other applications and more efficient than artificial lighting sources.
